Monika is our dynamic Office Manager and a highly dedicated Paralegal. Born and raised in Penticton, she is proud to call the Okanagan home. After graduating from Penticton Secondary School (Pen‑Hi), Monika completed her Legal Assistant Certification at Okanagan University College.
Following her certification, she worked full‑time as a Legal Assistant while studying online at Capilano University to earn her Paralegal Certification. Monika has been a committed professional in the legal industry since 1991, bringing extensive experience in both support and management roles. Her primary practice areas include general litigation, family law, and personal injury law. She has been an integral part of Hillside Law Inc. since its inception in 2011.
Monika thrives on the hands‑on aspects of her work, particularly legal research, drafting, and providing client support. Outside the office, she enjoys staying active at the gym, running, and exploring the mountains with her two daughters, her husband Dave, and their beloved rescue dogs.
